LAZOS Y TRAZOS X ARTE Y TEJIDO
The Gases del Caribe Foundation exhibited in Barranquilla the first edition of ‘Lazos y Trazos’, a collaboration between the Association of Artisans of Chorrera with its brand Arte y Tejido, and the plastic artists Liman Zúñiga, Rafi Baron and Omar Mendoza. This limited collection of backpacks has six unique pieces, designed by Art & Fabric in homage to the works of each artist that will be for sale.
“The first edition of ´Lazos y Trazos´ tells the story behind the works of these important local artists and how their art converges with the of our artisans. From the Gases del Caribe Foundation we continue to create cultural scenarios of interaction that promote support for entrepreneurs and artists in the region, and encourage economic reactivation. This social initiative contributes to improving the quality of life of the most of 150 families who benefit from the income of these backpacks.”
